Good Morning again!! It's time to announce the winner of "The Value of Joy" stamp set by Jami Bova. Thank you so much for playing along with our blog hop and for sharing your ideas with us. So......the winner, chosen by random.org is......... Margie!! Congratulations Margie.
Margie's suggestion, "I enjoyed blog-hopping today :) So many beautiful creations to see!I think that we could all see more boy themed stamps, papers, embellies, etc ;)Thnx!!!"
I think it's pretty unanimous that everyone would like to see some more boy/masculine themed things. We will definitely keep that in mind!! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with us again!!
Margie, please email your address to me and I'll get your stamp set in the mail to you! America, I still need your address too please :)
Next for today, we want to introduce you to our featured stamp set "Heartfelt Friends". It is illustrated by a brand new stamp artist. She is definitely an artist, but had never drawn images for stamps....until now :) We're excited to introduce you to the images of Abbey Westemeyer.
The first card is by Teresa. Check out these FUN colors!!! I love the colors and the hand stitching she did on this card. Go to her blog because she's got another one that's just as fun!!!
This card is Wendy's. She combined some of the images from Snowman Love with the Frog image from Heartfelt Friends. I love the googly eyes she added!!
Once again, the featured set is blog candy for today.
First go to each dt member's blog and see what they've done with "Heartfelt Friends". Be sure to leave a comment for them.

Then come back here and answer this question in a comment for us. "Where do you 'hang out' to get inspiration - can you be found most often on SplitCoastStampers, PaperCraftPlanet, TwoPeasinaBucket, Blog hopping, or reading papercrafting magazines (if so, what is your favorite magazine)? "
The winner will be chosen Sunday, Feb. 1st at 9:00am EST. That's when our last blog hop will begin and then the stamps will be released for sale on Monday, February 2nd!!!!
Have fun hopping today!!

I used to go to SplitCoastStampers a lot for inspiration and I do still visit there but lately I have been finding my inspiration from blog hopping. There are so many wonderful blogs out there that usually lead you to more. I found out about 2RedBananas from Jami's blog which I found from Our Daily Bread Design's blog.
ReplyDeletelove blog hopping to see all the beautiful work that is out there, it really inspires me. It just amazing me how one person can use the same image, papers, colors and yet both are some different. I am subscribed to the newsletter for splitcoast stampers and love the message boards and subjects that they address. It has been very helpful. I have Stamp Happy linked on my blog page, because I like what I have seen on each visit. The blogs that I do have linked to mine also leads me to other blogs. Just love how the internet has been so helpful to me with my scrapbooking/cardmaking/paper piecings. Ladies and gents out there in the blogging community keep up the good work. Use to subscripe to magazine, but the budget is tight now and the internet with the vast amount of information fits just fine in my budget.

I am loving my sub to SB Trends and Cards magazines, so I use those for inspiration, plus blog-hopping. The internet is so flexible for finding things, but I like being able to have a magazine in front of me on my scrap table to lift from....so that wins out, I think. Sorry I didn't get to hop more this week! :)
