Next for today, we want to introduce you to our featured stamp set "Heartfelt Friends". It is illustrated by a brand new stamp artist. She is definitely an artist, but had never drawn images for stamps....until now :) We're excited to introduce you to the images of Abbey Westemeyer.

The first card is by Teresa. Check out these FUN colors!!! I love the colors and the hand stitching she did on this card. Go to her blog because she's got another one that's just as fun!!!



This card is Wendy's. She combined some of the images from Snowman Love with the Frog image from Heartfelt Friends. I love the googly eyes she added!!

I made the second card and look how well the images work even with colors so different. Mine are so much subtler than Maraya's and they still work! It's such a fun set.

It's a set that combines Snowmen and Valentine's Day and is just fun! There are many stamps in this set so you have lots of ways to use them.

• My fave cardstock is Bazzill and SU, I tend to use SU for the actual card part and to stamp my images on and Bazzil is great for layers, matting and design!
  
• my favorite embellishment is ribbon!! Hands down; I think a card is naked without it!
• love the simplicity in this card! my favorite bling is the self adhesive rhinestones!
• i don't use bazzill much so have no idea what their color names are. I do use SU the most and love, LOVE chocolate chip - esp. as a card base! This was a hard question - I could easily name off 10 favorites
• my favorite way to color is my prismacolor pencils and baby oil.

We've decided that this was so much fun, we're going to do it every day this week...and each day you'll have a chance to win the new release we're previewing! Sounds great, right??

Olive suede leaves!!! It's one of the new ones in the store, and isn't it delightful?? Tell you what... we'll add a yard of it to go with the two stamps sets for the winner!!

Here are two layouts by Maraya and Jeanette using the new journal tags. See the fun ribbon on Jeanettes? That's also new in the store! I just love how Maraya knotted her ribbon in the big Primas!!









This little bag also uses one of the journaling sets - just to show you how versatile these stamps can be - they don't have to be used just for scrapbooking. Here Jami's added a tag to a gift bag and used the journal lines to handwrite a note to the recipient.

Today's set is Jami Bova's "the Gift". This is an AMAZING set with 5 images and 2 sentiments. It can be used for many occasions.

We are going to show you different ways to use the set by sending you on a blog hop. From here you will be directed to each of the Banana's blogs where you will see details on their cards and you will also be asked to answer a very easy question in their comments. Be sure to answer their question, because that's how you will be eligible to win the blog candy once you get to Jami's blog. You have to answer the question on EACH of the Banana's blog. It's a 24 hour blog hop to be eligible for the blog candy. Tomorrow at 9:00am EST Jami will draw a random winner.

More Breaking News :)

Don't laugh too hard at my titles. I could never be a journalist because English was never my strongest subject, I'm a Math girl :) But I just love thinking of the boys on the corners selling the newspapers and the things they would say! :)

Our own Jami Bova has started her own website creating banners, watermarks, blinkies and other things like that. You will see on the right side of the blog, a blinkie that you can click to get to her site or you can just click here.

She designed this blog, and the 2RedBananas blinkie that is on all of our dt's blogs. She's incredibly talented (which you already know from her blog :) and she is a dream to work with!

Go take a look at her site, you'll find that her prices are VERY reasonable and she does it all! She just has soooooo much talent!

Breaking News......... :)

The date for the very first 2RedBananas stamp release is set. February 2nd - all the new stamps sets and there are EIGHT of them will be available in the 2RedBananas store.

We will be doing a "Week of Peeks" starting January 26th and will show peeks of a different set each day until the release. One day will have 2 sets shown.

The dt is working on their samples as I type this, so I know there will be some amazing creations for you to see!

A New Challenge!

This one is a CREATIVE RIBBON CHALLENGE! In other words use your ribbon as creatively as you can. It doesn't have to be ribbon from 2RedBananas, but we have a lot of really great ribbon if you need some to get you started :)


The design team is just now getting this challenge too, so I will post their creations as I get them. You can make a card, a scrapbook page or any other project you would like to make.

Our prize for this challenge is a sampling of Valentine-ish products. It will be a fun prize to win!

When you complete your challenge, just leave a comment on this post with a link to your project so we can see it. We're starting it now and your link must be posted by Sunday, January 18th midnight CST. On Monday, January 19th a random winner will be drawn.

New products!

Hi! We have been VERY busy adding new products to our store. One of the newest manufacturers that we've added is Imaginisce. This card uses products mostly from the Twitterpated line.
These paper are double sided and also have glossy accents on them.....too fun! There are 3 stamps in the line that are only $.99 each!

Other things we have added are some Nestabilities, loose glitter in fun colors, Quickie glue pen to use with your glitter, Tim Holtz Non-stick serrated scissors, perfect for cutting apart the rubber stamps :), the Inkssentials opaque white pens, oh and the February House Mouse stamps.

Lots of new fun things so be sure to go browse for a bit and see what you find fun!
